Osage City's Smoke in the Spring, Burlington's WildBlue BBQ and Emporia's Flint Hills Beef Fest BBQ have formed the Sunflower BBQ Series starting in 2010! The series Major Sponsor is Fanestil Meats, Emporia, KS. Total prize money is $2,000 with $1,000 winner-takes-all Grand Prize and $250 for each main event category champion in chicken, ribs, pork and brisket. The rules of the Sunflower Series are simple.
